August 23, 2019 - Funfly: Rivers and Creeks |
||||||
I hadn't been flying in two weeks and was looking forward to flying on this absolutely gorgeous Sunday morning. The Hangar Row A Flyers weren't flying today so it would would be what I call a Fun-Fly. Just me heading out and having fun. Can you believe I forgot my Canon Digital Rebel camera? So I just took a few pictures with the iPhone. Here, I'm heading east looking down at the Chester River. Notice the broken layer of cumulous clouds with bases at only about 2,000 feet. |

The air was smooth even down low. Visibility was exceptional. Winds were light.

I flew a couple of creeks and rivers and up around the clouds and just had a great time. | ||||||
Approaching Martin State airport on the right where the aviation gas price is the lowest around, although it is still stupid expensive compared to car gas.
